More Than Summer Fun
Time with horses can have a powerful impact on children. Through riding and caring for horses, kids develop confidence, patience, empathy, and a sense of accomplishment.
The barn becomes a place where children can try new things, build friendships, and experience the joy of working with horses.
Who the Program Is For
Ride N Play is designed for children and youth who may be facing financial, social, or personal challenges that make it difficult to participate in extracurricular opportunities.
Families are welcome to apply directly, and children may also be referred by schools, youth organizations, or family support agencies that partner with Horse Sense for Kids.
The program prioritizes children who would benefit most from a supportive environment where they can build confidence, develop positive relationships, and experience the powerful connection that can grow through time spent with horses.
